PERSONAL INJURY

• Wrongful Death
• Product Liability
• Autotomobile and Truck Accidents
• Slip and Fall

Whenever you are injured, it is important that you quickly obtain legal representation. If you delay, you may compromise your rights and prejudice your legal position. This is especially true if the other party has insurance. In such cases the insurance company will make every effort to pay you as little money as possible. In doing so they maximize their profits at your expense. Timely legal representation sends a strong message to the insurance company that they MUST be fair in their dealings with you.

Automobile and Truck Accidents

Automobile and truck accidents are the most common types of personal injury claims. In most cases, the party at fault has automobile insurance to cover at least a portion of the loss. Automobile insurance claims adjusters are skilled at soliciting information and statements from an accident victim that can later be used against that party. Accordingly, if you are injured in an automobile or truck accident, you should retain legal representation at your first opportunity. Doyle Law Firm will quickly gather evidence to support your claim and will assist you in receiving full compensation for your injuries and lost earnings. In the past, Mr. Doyle handled personal injury cases for insurance companies. As a result, he is familiar with their tactics and he is able to successfully counter those tactics so that you ultimately receive full value for your loss. [Never lose sight of the fact that the insurance adjuster has an incentive to pay you as little money as possible for your loss.]

Wrongful Death

These cases are extremely difficult and must be handled by an experienced attorney. Great care must be afforded to the feelings and needs of the family of the deceased. At the same time, important legal processes must be complied with. As the case progresses, evidence establishing fault on the part of the other party must be developed. In most cases the party at fault will attempt to deflect some or all of his/her fault onto the deceased. Doyle Law Firm will zealously defend such insensitive and often inaccurate attacks. At the same time, Doyle Law Firm will work with the family to present a comprehensive case establishing the impact that the deceased had on the surviving family and how his/her loss will affect the family for years to come.

Slip and Fall

The law obligates individuals and businesses to take reasonable measures to keep their premises safe. When they fail to meet this standard of care, people can and often do get injured. If you trip or fall or walk into a concealed obstacle you should contact a personal injury attorney to determine if the law (as applied to your facts) affords you any measure of compensation. Doyle Law Firm has been quite successful in pursuing these types of claims. Please call us for a free consultation. Click to view recent settlements and verdicts.

RECENT SETTLEMENTS & VERDICTS

1. A family was traveling in their automobile. Suddenly, a truck turned directly in front of them and collided head-on. One of our clients had to be cut out of the automobile and sustained serious and permanent injuries. Doyle Law Firm was hired within a day of the accident. We quickly met with the law enforcement agency that investigated the accident and suggested additional investigation follow up. We also retained an accident reconstruction expert who inspected the scene and the vehicles. By taking quick action we were able to preserve critical evidence and establish 100% liability on the part of the truck driver. The case was later settled for more than $300,000.

2. A woman drove up to the parking valet at a casino. As she was removing an item from the back of her car the valet backed her car into her. She sustained a significant shoulder injury. The company that employed the valet was not interested in settling the claim. Doyle Law Firm was hired and quickly made contact with the insurance company. After completing our investigation we submitted a settlement package and secured a full value settlement.

3. An elderly woman entered a large chain store. As she was entering, the electric door closed on her causing her to fall and break her hip. The store denied any responsibility. We were hired and soon discovered that the door had a long history of mishaps. The store tried to avoid liability by filing a Summary Judgment Motion. We opposed the motion, were successful and soon thereafter convinced the store and its attorney to present a sizeable settlement offer.

4. When one business partner tried to freeze the other out through hard-ball litigation tactics we were hired just days before the court proceeding. We immediately reviewed the business records and financial accounting documents and formulated a defense that resulted in a complete courtroom victory and subsequent buy-out proposal at full appraised value.

5. An existing client wanted to purchase a dinner house. The party selling the business required that our client assume a lease and operating agreement. We reviewed all legal agreements, made numerous modifications to the agreements and secured favorable terms that allowed our client to proceed with the transaction.
